Privacy policy

Account details: name, email address, business name, role, and a securely stored password.

Licensing data you or your locations enter: locations, agreements, sales reports, payments, notes, checklists and playbook items, and spreadsheets you upload for setup.

Purchase details: billing country, the terms versions you accepted, and the time and IP address of acceptance. If you accepted ad cookies, also the ad source of your first visit (utm_source, utm_campaign, utm_term, gclid).

Questions you type into the AI assistant or the Ask a question box.

INKD uses essential sign-in and checkout cookies. Google Consent Mode v2 denies ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization by default in the EU, UK, EEA and Switzerland until you accept. Elsewhere, ad measurement is on by default unless you decline. We use a local IP-to-country database without sending your IP to a geolocation provider; if your country cannot be determined, ad measurement stays off. Ad attribution is saved and sent with checkout only when ad measurement is enabled. Declining removes saved attribution. Change your choice anytime using Cookie settings in the footer.

Support questions are answered by INKD's AI assistant, powered by OpenAI. Your question and the account context needed to answer it are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. INKD's policy is that customer data is not authorized for AI model training.

Each business's data is kept separate. Team members see their business's data. Locations only see their own reports and statements.

To run the service: calculating royalties, tracking payments, sending reminders and flags, billing your subscription, answering support, and measuring which ads bring customers (only with consent). We do not sell your data.

Data is kept while your account is active so your records stay complete.

Your data stays available as a read-only export for 30 days after your account ends. We email warnings 7 days and 1 day before deletion. After that, we delete your account data. Billing, terms and login records are retained for 2 years. Backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.

To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, email support@inkdroyalties.com.

If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, receive it in a portable format, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent (for example, to ad cookies) at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

For your business's own account, we process data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations such as billing and tax records, and, for ad measurement, based on your consent. For data about your team and locations, your business is the controller and INKD Royalties acts as its processor under the Data Processing Addendum.

Residents of US states with consumer privacy laws, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others, may have the right to know what personal data we hold, to access and get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data. You can opt out of ad measurement anytime using Cookie settings in the footer. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

From Settings: the account owner can download all workspace data as a ZIP, or request permanent deletion of the workspace, under Settings, Privacy tools.

By email: email support@inkdroyalties.com from your account email address. Our AI support agent can explain the privacy tools and help you submit a request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request; an email alone does not authorize an export or deletion.

If you are a location or team member of a business that uses INKD, we may refer your request to that business, because it controls that data.

What we keep after deletion: billing, terms acceptance and login records are retained for 2 years to meet legal, tax and security obligations. Backup copies are purged within 30 days of deletion.
